$Altimmune(ALT)$ announced today that it has entered into a securities purchase agreement with a new fundamental institutional investor for the purchase and sale of 17,045,454 shares of its common stock (or pre-funded warrants in lieu thereof) pursuant to a registered direct offering. The offering is expected to result in gross proceeds of approximately $75 million
